AU SUMMIT: New African Union Passport Launched!

The African Union Commission has launched the  passport that will be an official travel document to all member states in the union.

Government leaders and diplomats would be the first to get these passports, and Rwandan president Paul Kagame, whose country was hosting the mid-year summit, was the first to get a passport.

The African Union Commission outgoing chairperson Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma tasked member states to go back to their respective countries and work out the logistics of producing the new passports.
