Watford gaffer Walter Mazzarri has confirmed that Super Eagles forward Isaac Success is out injured for the next two weeks, meaning that the former Granada player is a major doubt for Nigeria’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Algeria.
The 20-year-old sustained a muscular injury in the Hornet’s 1-0 win over Middlesbrough and will miss this weekend’s Premier League game against Hull City.
“Isaac Success being out for Hull game is the biggest disappointment since I realised it isn’t Christmas today.
“We’ll be able to be more precise after the international break,” Mazzarri confirming the forward will not be fit for the game against Algeria in Uyo come November 12.
Success was also kept out of Nigeria’s first World Cup qualifier against Zambia, a match the Super Eagles won by a lone goal in Ndola early this month.
