Super Eagles forwards, Victor Moses and Ahmed Musa were involved in action for Chelsea and Leicester City respectively in a Premier League game on Saturday.
Moses scored late in the game to help the Blues to a 3-0 win over the reigning English champions at the Stamford Bridge. His second for Chelsea this season.
Strikers Diego Costa and Eden Hazard had given Chelsea a comfortable 2-0 lead in the first half, while the Foxes struggled to get the ball under control.
It was only Musa’s second start for Leicester and the former Kano Pillars man had a poor outing and was later replaced in the 67th minute by Islam Slimani.
Moses, who missed Nigeria’s World Cup qualifier in Zambia last Sunday because of a hamstring injury, combined well with substitute Nathaniel Chalobah to score Chelsea’s third 10 minutes from time but was replaced by compatriot Ola Aina two minutes after..
